Attention editors: Book Jen and Gerard if you want to sell a magazine.

Covers featuring Jennifer Aniston have been the top sellers in 2010 for both Architectural Digest and W, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations Rapid Report.

The Architectural Digest cover featured Ms. Aniston draped over a piece of furniture with the tagline “Jennifer Aniston In Her New Home.” According to an AD press release the issue gave readers “an exclusive look at Jennifer Aniston’s newly renovated home.” Ah, lifestyles of the rich and heartbroken.

“Who wouldn’t want to see the inside of Jennifer Aniston’s bachelorette pad?” said Elissa Lumley, a spokeswoman for Architectural Digest, in an interview with the Observer.

Ms. Aniston cover sold 118,000 single sale copies, 32,000 more copies than the next highest seller, the May 2010 cover featuring (ta-da!)Ms. Aniston’s rumored beau and The Bounty Hunter co-star Gerard Butler (ABC’s data runs through the May issue).

They sell elsewhere too! Ms. Aniston and Mr. Butler appeared together on the April cover of W, doing a sexy pose for Steven Klein, which sold 34,000 copies, which is 5,000 more copies than the March cover featuring Megan Fox (the ABC data runs through April).

Ms. Aniston has recently been a safe bet when it comes to selling magazines. Her January 2009 GQ cover in which she wore nothing but a tie was by far the magazine’s biggest seller of that year at 330,451. So was her Elle cover from September of that year at 434,399 copies.

Actor John Goodman showed off a trimmer figure at the 38th AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony honoring Mike Nichols in Culver City, Calif., Thursday night.

Goodman, 57, is best known for his work on TV’s “Roseanne” and “Treme.”

His publicist told USA Today Goodman shed the pounds through “diet and exercise.”

While the representative couldn’t confirm the amount of the weight loss, some media reports have estimated it at a minimum of 100 pounds.

Actress Jodie Foster, is speaking out after reports were released Jodie Foster attacked a teenaged paparazzo during a shopping trip. Her rep insists that the event, which took place at The Grove shopping center in LA is ‘a fabrication’, and the the teenager was most definitely a paparazzo with a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie Foster and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet. He crowded her and her two young children and took photos of them the whole time. This guy’s behaviour was completely inappropriate.”

Jodie Foster was with her children at the time and supposedly reacted harshly to the teen. We think that if you decide to roll with the paparazzi, no matter what age you are, you get what you deserve – and if you’re a kid, that just may mean someone like Jodie Foster may have to break out the belt on you- like Grandma used to do!

NEW YORK (AP) — Ke$ha’s (KEHSH’-uh) former managers say the pop star squeezed them out of her career under pressure from hit songwriter Dr. Luke.
But her lawyer said Friday she simply exercised her rights to fire the managers when they didn’t perform.

DAS Communications Inc. sued Ke$ha and Dr. Luke on Wednesday in Manhattan.

The “TiK ToK” singer had a 2006 agreement with DAS. The contract let her end the relationship if she didn’t get a major-label record deal in a year.

DAS says she waived the deadline and it lined up a record deal for her in 2008. The firm says Dr. Luke then interfered and persuaded her to cut ties.

Ke$ha’s lawyer, Charles Ortner, says the firm had nothing to do with her eventual record deal.

A representative or phone number for Dr. Luke could not be found.
